Your responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics, carry out wiring and connections, and commission and power up equipment and electrical cabinets.
- Assist with the mechanical assembly of water treatment machines and skids in the workshop.
- Carry out compliance tests and electrical safety checks.
- You will also oversee project progress and the execution of the work, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, quality requirements, and procedures. You will also prepare the necessary technical documentation.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on installed equipment.
- Prepare for maintenance and service interventions, including tools, equipment, PPE, and technical documentation.
- Carry out troubleshooting and repair work at customer sites, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults.
- Prepare service reports and keep intervention documentation and maintenance records up to date.
Your experience and skills
- A degree or technical qualification in electromechanics, electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
- You are proficient in reading electrical schematics, industrial electrical wiring, mechanical assembly of industrial equipment, using electrical testing and measuring instruments, troubleshooting faults, and carrying out industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, variable speed drives, pumps, sensors, or water treatment systems would be an advantage.
- Versatility, independence, and a hands-on approach, with a willingness to work on customer sites.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
