A Project Manager

– Gather and analyse client requirements, the characteristics of the water to be treated and the expected performance
– Review the available data, identify missing information and contribute to defining any additional analyses or tests required
– Develop treatment solutions suited to the water characteristics, future uses and site constraints
– Define the different stages of the process and select the most relevant technologies
– Carry out or oversee the sizing of the installations and their main equipment
– Size or contribute to the sizing of pumps, tanks, networks, piping, valves, filtration equipment and instrumentation systems
– Prepare or validate hydraulic balances, flow rates, pressures, pressure losses and equipment requirements
– Prepare or review process flow diagrams, PFDs and P&IDs
– Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and project costing in support of the sales teams
– Prepare technical notes, specifications, scopes of work and the documentation required for project execution
– Consult suppliers and subcontractors, analyse their proposals and contribute to equipment selection
– Provide the Engineering Design Office with the data required to produce layout, manufacturing and installation drawings
– Coordinate engineering studies and ensure consistency between process choices, equipment, instrumentation, automation and operating constraints
– Monitor the technical progress of the project, anticipate potential issues and propose the necessary solutions and decisions
– Support the workshop during equipment manufacturing, assembly and testing phases
– Participate in technical discussions with clients throughout the project
– Provide support to the teams during installation and commissioning on site
– Analyse the results achieved and contribute to the optimisation of the installations
– Provide occasional support to the after-sales service and operations teams
